Alt-J "Breezeblocks"

 

I chose this week's song because of the BRIT Awards last night, which were amazing! Alt-J didn't win their catergory but it inspired me to listen to some of their other stuff, this has been on repeat constantly. My soulmate (:P), Ben Howard, won 2 BRITS, and Mumford and Sons cleaned up too- as well as a flawless come back from Justin Timberlake.

I just love awards ceremonies, I had to be physically restrained to stop tweeting, I might have gotten a little carried away! You can follow me @DanieBann.

Zara jeans, Topshop jumper, covetable hat.

 

Today was spent drinking tea, eating oatmeal and raisin cookies, swapping amazing music and trying on my friend's beautiful hat (which I found very difficult to let go of).

I love lazing days like that.

It has been a month today since my last post, I think I really needed this time to refocus on what this website is about and not just write posts for the sake of it!

With Valentine's Day tomorrow, I thought I would share some amazing photography I came across recently. It's cheesy but let's face it, it's unavoidable- you'll also notice that some of the photos are aimed at those of us who find themselves without plans tomorrow. Think of it this way, you can always spend the money on yourself for a change ;)

1st anniversary

My blog is 1 year old today and this is a small glimpse of the photos I have shared this year.

2012 is over and 2013 just beginning, and may it be the best year yet.

A Fedora

Ok, as you scan this list you will probably notice that most won't fit in your average stocking. But here are some ideas of presents you could buy, if like me, you aren't the most organised person out there. A hat is unexpected, but very stylish and practical.

 

 

iPhone covers

Or any phone that you have, there are so many covers out there that there is no excuse to have a plain one, you can even design your own! You have been warned.

Travel mug

Again another practical one for all the busy people out there. Made of porcelain with a rubber lid- reusable and looks a lot less conspicuous than an ugly brute of a flask.

 

Name a Star gift

I think this one is beautiful! You can name a star after someone and in the pack you will recieve a certificate and the coordinates of your star. Definitely a gift for all you romantics.

 

Satchel

It always baffles me where men put all of their stuff, I have to bring the whole house with me everytime I step out the door. Satchels are very cool, every man should own one.

 

Sooo, if anyone is thinking of buying me a gift... ;)
